Motorcycle burns on W. Ind. 45

Update from fire department records:

“17:49:49 E7 dispatched for motorcycle fire.
17:54:01 E7 arrived on scene. BPD was on scene. Upon arrival E-7 found a motorcycle that had caught on fire while the owner was riding it home.
The driver was able to get stopped and get off of the bike. The driver had possible injuries reported.
IUEMS arrived on scene and assessed the patient. The BFD crew of E7 extinguished the motorcycle fire, and relocated the motorcycle out of traffic. Once the fire was extinguished the roadway was cleaned. A tow truck arrived and removed the motorcycle.
18:14:48 E7 returned to service and no additional actions were taken.”
