Ultra-distance bicycle race passes through Bloomington

Sixty-five-year-old solo bicycle rider Valerio Zamboni, of Monaco, makes a stop at the Bloomington time station during the Race Across America, an ultra-distance road cycling race, that started a few days ago in Oceanside, California, and ends in Annapolis, Maryland, Thursday, June 21, 2019 in Bloomington, Ind. The annual Race Across America RAAM is one of the most grueling bicycle races in the world and brings an international group of bicycle riders through Bloomington each year.
