The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has made one arrest of a suspect, and are looking for another in connection to the vandalism of Old Dutch Church near Ellettsville on Labor Day. Photos of the suspects taken by a security camera were posted on the Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, and they are asking for help from the public.
Three sides of the church, and a propane tank, were covered in graffiti with racist, anti-semitic, satanic, and offensive messages. Photos of the vandalized church circulated widely on Social media Tuesday, and Wednesday.
