An historic home at 523 W. 7th Street across from Fairview Elementary School was recently demolished. The demolition of the house was the subject of a post on the site, Bloomington Fading, which tracks the changing real estate landscape of Bloomington. The Bloomingtonian stopped by the site of the house, and made photos to document the scene. Bloomington resident, and drone pilot, Geoff McKim also provided some photos to show the house in its context to downtown. This story will be updated if more details become available.

A headline on Bloomington Fading reads, “Owners of Historic 523 W 7th Street Demolish Home Without Final Review from the BHPC, City Council or┬áCommunity
