Male in Jordan River revived, taken to hospital

IU police investigate at the site in Dunn Meadow where a boy was pulled from the Jordan River and revived, according to IU spokesperson Chuck Carney, Thursday, Oct., 10, 2019 in Bloomington, Ind. The boy was taken to the hospital. Emergency workers were dispatched to the site around 2:21 p.m. Police were still investigating around 3 p.m. A row of police cars, and emergency vehicles lined 7th Street along Dunn Meadow as IUPD officers cordoned off an area near the Indiana Memorial Union with police tape. Purple flags are for Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and have been in the meadow for a few days. This story will be updated if more information becomes available.
