Bicyclist struck by vehicle, not seriously injured

Emergency workers respond after a vehicle struck a bicyclist around 10:05 p.m. near the corner of South Rogers, and W. Cherokee Dr., Monday, Oct., 28, 2019 in Bloomington, Ind. The bicycle rider said they weren’t seriously injured. As The Bloomingtonian arrived, the rider was standing next to their bike, and a backpack. The back wheel of the bicycle was bent, and detached. An ambulance and fire engine soon left the scene, but a police officer was still on present. A car with its emergency lights flashing was parked off the right side of the street, but was soon moved.
