Firefighters Respond to Fire in Empty Apartment

Members of the Bloomington Fire Department work at the scene of a structure fire in the 4600 block of W. Sunset Avenue, Friday, December 28, 2019 in Bloomington, Ind. The fire, which was dispatched at 11:31 p.m., started in an empty apartment unit, according to scanner traffic. Firefighters arrived to find smoke billowing from the apartment where a fire had started in the kitchen, according to scanner traffic.
