Bird Fest will be held at the Switchyard Park Pavilion from 1-4 p.m. April 4, 2020

The Sassafras Audubon Society has announced they have partnered with the City of Bloomington to host the 3rd annual Bloomington Bird Fest at the Switchyard Park Pavilion from 1-4 p.m. April 4, 2020 in Bloomington, Indiana.

The event will include information and activities for all on ecological and conservation issues with a focus on birds, according to a press release. The release also says, “We will have bird walks, fun activities, music, a couple of food trucks, and presentations.”

The event will feature speakers from Sassafras Audubon Society, Hoosier National Forest, Girl Scouts, IU’s Environmental Resiliency Institute, Indiana Audubon Society, GEMS from Bloomington High School North, and others, according to the press release.
