Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard will distribute pre-packaged boxes of groceries for pick up during COVID-19 outbreak

Amid coronavirus concerns, Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard will distribute pre-packaged boxes of groceries for pick up. The boxes will be available in the truck bay of the pantry during normal hours, which are noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The move is a precaution to help minimize the spread of COVID-19. It will continue until further notice.

Patrons are asked park their car and walk up to the loading bay to receive a box. The organization is attempting to provide a variety of nonperishable and fresh foods. Patrons are being asked to wash all fresh f ood thoroughly at home.

All non-essential programming including workshops, weekly drop-ins, demonstrations, events and Kids Cook have been canceled until further notice. Updates on Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard will be provided on the organization’s website as well as through social media channels.
