Pizza delivery driver ripped off

A Dominoes Pizza delivery driver was shortchanged by almost 70 dollars, and had a heatwave bag worth 150-dollars stolen by two men Monday night, according to the Bloomington Police Department.

“A Domino’s pizza delivery driver reported that he was making a delivery of pizzas to an apartment in the 2500 block of S Rockport Road when he was approached by two men who advised him that the order was theirs. The men gave the driver $10, but then took the entire heatwave bag that the pizzas had been delivered in and ran off. The total for the order was $78.13 and the heatwave bag was valued at $150,” said Bloomington Police Department Capt. Ryan Pedigo.

Pedigo said police investigated, and found that the order had been placed from a phone number belonging to a man who said he did not know the men who placed the order, and the address given was for the residence of a woman who lives alone.
