
Monroe County has had its first death from COVID-19/Coronavirus, according to the Indiana State Department of Health, which released the latest statistics Sunday morning at 10 a.m. on its website.
No details of the death, or the identity of the person were given on the site.
Monroe County has 83 confirmed cases among its residents, and has tested 555.
Indiana now has 7,928 confirmed cases, and 343 Hoosiers have died. 42,489 have been tested. Marion county leads the state in deaths with 123.
Morgan county has had 3 deaths, Brown 1, Greene 1, Owen 1, and Lawrence 7.
