There were no apparent injuries in a three-car crash that left a van inverted in the 200 block of S. Adams Monday night according to Bloomington Police Department Lt. Lucas Tate.
Shortly before 10:25 p.m. on Memorial Day a white KIA van headed southbound went left of the center line and collided with a silver Jeep Wrangler, which was heading eastbound, according to the police. After the van hit the Jeep, the van spun sideways, and was broadsided by a Honda CRV that caused the van to hit a curb and invert.
“How nobody was injured, I don’t know,” said Lt. Tate.
Police were investigating the driver of the white van as possibly operating while intoxicated, and took the driver into custody at the scene of the accident.
The Bloomington Fire Department, EMS workers from IU Health Bloomington hospital, and two truck drivers also responded to the accident.
All charges are mere allegations unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
