Businesses burglarized over weekend

Three businesses were burglarized over the weekend according to Bloomington Police Capt. Ryan Pedigo.

Police were called to Bloomington Creative Glass Center in the 200 block of W. Grimes after entry was forced by prying glass and several items were stolen. Stolen items included electronics and a briefcase with specialized glass blowing tools worth approximately 3,000-dollars.

Officers reported a bottle of body wash was found in the bathroom where it’s believed a burglar used the sink to bathe. The body wash did not belong to the business.

In another burglary, at RightRez Inc., in the 200 block of W. Grimes, a rear window to the business was broken and opened. A Dell laptop, black bowling ball, and black shoes were taken.

A bag containing a saw, and glass blowing tools were recovered near the building. However, the bowling ball, and black shoes were not found, according to police.

In a third break-in at All-Options located nearby in the 1000 block of S. Walnut Street the manager of the business reported an alarm was tripped, and they thought it was a false alarm, but went to check the building Monday morning. When they arrived, they discovered the key box was missing, the door handle was broken off and the security camera was pointed upward.

Wires were inside laying on the floor from the ADT alarm panel but nothing appeared to be missing, according to the BPD.
