High heels, shoes, and electronics stolen during burglary
Several pairs of shoes and some electronics were taken during a burglary Sunday according to Bloomington Police Department Capt. Ryan Pedigo.
Police responded to the 500 block of W. Granite Sunday around 4:13 p.m. after residents of an apartment reported they had been the victims of a burglary. The residents of the apartment had left around 1 p.m. and returned around 4 p.m. they found a glass door had been taken off the track.
A female resident then discovered a television, iPad, and a pair of size 7 chrome Pleaser high heels were missing. Another woman who lives a the residence is missing a pair of purple and white Vans shoes, brown Guess wedges, black flip flops, black and white Converse shoes, and a brown pair of sandals. The missing shoes range from sizes 6 to 8.
The case is still active.
Apartment burglarized after residents go to store
Police were called to an apartment in the 1400 block of N Kinser Pike after a burglary Sunday, according to BPD Capt. Ryan Pedigo.
Residents of the apartment went to the store but arrived home a few minutes later and witnessed two individuals running from the back of the apartment before 8:50 p.m. Sunday night, according to Pedigo. A window of the apartment had been left open, and the screen was removed for the burglars to gain entry.
A laptop was found apparently undamaged outside the apartment, according to police, and belongings were found scattered near a treeline behind the apartment. The thieves had been stacking electronic items outside, including two Playstation controllers, which they had already carried from the building.
Police located a backpack near the recovered items with identifying information, and police would like the question its owner as a possible suspect.
