A pizza delivery driver’s car was stolen Friday night just before 8:30 p.m., according to the Bloomington Police Department.

The Pizza X delivery driver delivered a pizza to the Candlewood Suites at 1935 S. Basswood Drive and left their keys in the car with it running. By the time the driver had delivered the pizza the car was gone.

The vehicle, which is still unrecovered, is a black 2013 Dodge Dart.

A suspect in the vehicle theft is described as a white male with a shaved head wearing blue jeans. A witness said the suspect had been loitering outside the hotel, and both the car and when the car was stolen it was noticed that the man was not in the area anymore either.

The case is still active.
