A deputy from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office fought to save the life of a woman Saturday night after an apparent stabbing. First responders can be heard in scanner traffic responding to the crime scene.
The stabbings left two injured in the 4300 block of S. Leonard Springs Rd., around 6 p.m. A male was taken into custody at the scene according to deputies speaking on their radios.
The Bloomingtonian responded to the scene as deputies were investigating more than an hour after the stabbings, but deputies said they couldn’t comment. However, Monroe County Sheriff Brad Swain then told the Herald-Times that it’s believed a family member had attacked the injured man and woman. The woman died according to the HT.
The Bloomingtonian gathered radio traffic available to the public in unencrypted broadcasts, and put created the following sound file in the order the dispatchers were made.
