Catalytic converter stolen from box truck

A catalytic converter was stolen from a box truck in the 700 block of S. Landmark, according to Bloomington Police Capt. Ryan Pedigo.

An online police report was filed with the Bloomington Police Department December 29th that the catalytic converter was stolen from a 2108 Isuzu box truck parked outside All-Phase Electric Supply.

According the report two individuals in a dark vehicle believed to a Chevy Malibu backed up and stole the part off the truck while being recording on a security camera. No description of the suspects was given.

The theft occurred sometime between 11 p.m on December 7th and 12:30 p.m. on the 8th, and an employee noticed the converter had been taken.

The part has a retail value of at least 1800-dollars. Here is a link for a replacement part that would fit a similar vehicle:
