A warrant has been issued for an Owen County man who is accused of taking a new pair of boots without paying for them, according to Bloomington Police Dept. Capt. Ryan Pedigo.
An employee at the Rural King in Bloomington reported that a man walked out of the store wearing a 179.95 pair of Justin boots, but didn’t pay for them. The man left his old shoes in the box the new boots were in at the business.
The employee noticed when the man was paying for some items that he was wearing a brand-new pair of boots, and upon reviewing the video surveillance footage in the store, the man was witnessed putting on the new boots and leaving behind his old ones.
