Vehicle collision on S. Rogers under investigation

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after two vehicles collided near the intersection of S. Hays Dr. and S. Rogers Street Wednesday around 10:40 a.m.

According to initial scanner traffic, one person was injured, and was unconscious after the accident. The Bloomingtonian does not have information about other vehicle occupants.

Rescue 22 and firefighters from Station 29 of Monroe Fire Protection District responded to the scene along with emergency services workers from IU Health Bloomington.

The road was closed after the collision.
