Police arrested an intoxicated 42-year-old Indianapolis woman Saturday night after she caused a disturbance at Home 2 Suites in Bloomington, said Bloomington Police Capt. Ryan Pedigo.
Police were initially called to the business in the 1400 block of North Walnut after a woman was reported yelling, and knocking on the doors of other rooms, threatening to kill people, around 6:20 p.m. Police were then called back around 7 p.m. after the woman again created a disturbance and was then told to leave the grounds and advised she is being put on a list as a trespasser for life, and not to return. As the woman was crossing the lot officers noted she screamed, “Fuck you, no!” And also yelled, “Fuck you,” multiple times.
Police said the woman became disorderly and locked her arms around a beer she’d been holding. She told a police officer, “Fuck you, I’ll kill you.”
Police put the woman, for her own safety, in a restraint inside of a police car after she began to kick the window behind the driver’s side.
The restrained woman was then taken to a hospital on a cot, but later attempted to bite hospital staff, and bit a police officer at the hospital, but didn’t break the officer’s skin, according to Pedigo.
The woman is being charged for resisting law enforcement, criminal trespass, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and disorderly conduct, which are misdemeanors.
Police found the marijuana in the woman’s bag after placing her under arrest.
