A man walked into the Domino’s Pizza on N. Walnut, ordered two pizzas, then attempted an armed robbery, according to Bloomington Police Capt. Ryan Pedigo.
Around 7:27 p.m. the man entered the restaurant in the 900 block of N. Walnut and made his pizza order, he then tried to pay with cash, but the employee didn’t have enough change for what he wanted to pay with, said Pedigo. When the employee opened the register, the man put a black folding knife to his rib cage and said to “give him all the money.”
The two men began to struggle as the robber tried to take back the bill he tried to pass, and after twisting the hand of the employee (causing an injury), he walked out and was last seen running on 12th Street.
The robber didn’t get the pizzas, or the money he tried to steal.
