Gray 1995 Ford Ranger with black tape around rusted fenders stolen Wednesday in Bloomington

Police are searching for a gray 1995 Ford Ranger, which was stolen from the parking lot of Cook Family Health Center Wednesday, according to Bloomington Police Department Capt. Ryan Pedigo.

The 69-year-old owner of the vehicle told police he parked the truck around 6:50 p.m. before going inside the business in the 400 block of N. Rogers to pick up his medicine, and when he returned shortly, the truck was gone. He said the truck was left unlocked, and a key was stuck in the ignition.

The stolen 26-year-old truck has black tape around all the fenders to hide the rust, the owner told police.

Police are still investigating the auto theft case and searching for the missing truck.
