A 31-year-old fast-food worker threw a pan of cheese at her boss at a Taco Bell Wednesday in Bloomington, according to Bloomington Police Department Capt. Ryan Pedigo.
The woman was allegedly upset about her hours, but police didn’t have more specific details. The employee had allegedly been hitting things all day in the kitchen in the 2400 block of S. Walnut, and her boss eventually asked what her problem was. The worker was then put on the phone with a regional manager of Taco Bell, but then threw a phone, and threw pots and pans inside the store. Finally, the woman threw a pan of cheese at her 19-year-old shift manager hitting her in the stomach.
The supervisor said she wasn’t hurt and didn’t want to pursue charges against the now fired worker. But the ex-employee was advised of trespass by the police around 5 p.m. Wednesday and asked to leave.
