Greek houses at Indiana University hung banners demanding protection of women; IUPD log has listed over 30 sexual assaults this semester

Many of Indiana University’s sorority houses have hung banners outside demanding that all women be protected after dozens of sexual assaults and rapes have occurred since the beginning of the semester. According to news reports, all parties and joint Greek activities have been canceled indefinitely by IU’s Panhellenic and Interfraternity councils.

The Bloomingtonian documented the Greek houses with the banners last weekend.

The Indiana University daily crime log listed two more rapes, one which occurred recently at Red Bud, and the other in August at University East Apartments.
