Several vehicles at JB’s Salvage burned Sunday after four juveniles were seen at the business, according to Bloomington Police Department Capt. Ryan Pedigo.

The Bloomington Fire Department was dispatched to the business for a structure fire around 4:40 p.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of Fountain Drive. When police later reviewed surveillance footage 4 juveniles were seen on the lot around 4:20. Then around 4:25 smoke began coming from the area where they were seen, and by 4:30 there were flames.

At 4:34 p.m. the four juveniles fled toward West 8th Street.

Black acrid smoke billowed into the air from the burning vehicles, and filled the area, as random explosions could be heard from the burning vehicles.
