A Bloomington mother is looking for her 16-year-old son Grand Moulton, who she reported missing after it is believed he ran away on February 8, 2022, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department. Moulton is not believed to be in immediate danger.

Anybody with information about Moulton’s whereabouts is asked to call their local law enforcement agency, or call Monroe County Central Emergency Dispatch at (812) 349-2781.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office shared the following information about the missing person case:

“The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a runaway/missing juvenile involving 16 year-old Grant Moulton from his parent’s residence in the 3900 Block of S Cramer Circle on February 8, 2022. Grant’s mother contacted the Sheriff’s Office on February 12, 2022 requesting assistance searching for Grant at a friend’s residence after not hearing from him for multiple days. The mother waited to report Grant as missing because he had previously absconded from home on January 16, 2022 and was located the following day at a friend’s residence after sharing his whereabouts with a family member. Deputies spoke with the juvenile and parents at the friends residence and determined that Grant had not returned to this location since the previous incident in January.

With no additional investigative leads to follow, Grant’s mother completed paperwork provided by the Indiana Clearinghouse for Information on Missing Children & Missing Endangered Adults to enter Grant as a missing/runaway juvenile in both state and national databases available to law enforcement. Grant is described as a 16 year-old, pale skin Caucasian male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall 165 pounds with blue eyes and blonde hair. It is unknown what clothing he may be wearing at this time. He is not believed to be in immediate danger.

The Clearinghouse is intended to serve as the state central repository for all information on missing children and missing endangered adults from Indiana or believed to be in Indiana. The program is designed to collect, store, and disseminate information on missing children and missing and endangered adults. The Clearinghouse provides liaison among citizens, private organizations, and law enforcement agencies regarding missing children information.

Anyone with information regarding Grant’s whereabouts, or the whereabouts of any missing/runaway juvenile, is encouraged to contact their local law enforcement agency.

To report information in Bloomington or Monroe County, please contact Monroe County Central Emergency Dispatch at (812) 349-2781.”
