Broken beds seen in a Bloomington parking lot over weekend were auctioned recently

The Bloomingtonian reached out to IU Health on Monday, and a spokesperson said the following about the beds seen near the old hospital over the weekend:

“The hospital beds in question are a group of broken beds that were bought at a recent auction. Due to transportation issues, the new owner of the beds temporarily placed them in the 714 S. Rogers parking lot. They have since been moved back into the legacy hospital until such time that the new owner can pick them up.”
