A caller told police Tuesday afternoon they witnessed a driver brandish a black handgun in a parking lot at Bryan Park during a possible road rage incident.
The caller contacted police around 6:31 p.m. to say they witnessed an angry person in a grey sedan point a black gun at another person in a tan pickup truck. They said it happened in a parking lot off South Henderson between Dixie and Allen.
The driver of the tan truck pulled into the lot first and was followed by the silver sedan. The driver of the sedan then got out of their vehicle and pointed the gun. The two drivers were arguing, according to the witness.
However, neither party involved contacted the police, and when police arrived, they were gone.
The witness was not involved.
