Two Sticks Bakery closed after arson fire cuts power to building, Monday in Bloomington, Indiana

The building where Two Sticks Bakery is located was damaged by arson around 1:22 a.m. Monday, August 15, 2022, according to Bloomington Police Department Capt. Ryan Pedigo. The police haven’t arrested a suspect yet in the arson.

As officers arrived at the fire at the Two Sticks Bakery building, they found three other dumpster fires in the area.

The fire at Two Sticks damaged the utility and electrical boxes on the Southeast corner of the building, and Monday afternoon, the building did not have any power. The bakery was closed.

The fire melted plastic red brick siding material covering the cinder block building. Two Sticks Bakery is located at 415 South Washington, Street, in Bloomington, Indiana.

Electricians were working Monday afternoon to replace the damaged utility box and restore power to the building.
