The Bloomington and surrounding community is invited to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness month during the Pink Power 2022 night of fun on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at the Monroe County Fairgrounds Auditorium in Bloomington, Indiana.
Information sent to the Bloomingtonian says there will be vendors, food trucks, breast cancer education, music, and games during the event. The event is being organized by the Olcott Navigation Team through IU Health.
“We are a group affiliated with the local oncology office that provides support to patients who are undergoing cancer treatment. We use funds to provide financial assistance to patients receiving active chemotherapy/radiation, usually in the form of gas cards.”
