Police are looking for the suspect who threatened to kill a man riding on a bicycle past the Grimes and Walnut Circle K early Sunday, according to the Bloomington Police Department.
A man reported he was riding past the Circle K in the 1100 block of South Walnut when a man sitting outside the business began yelling racist slurs at him. The suspect then began to charge at the man, and also threatened to kill him. The bicyclist went inside the business to escape from the potential attacker.
Police are still investigating the incident, and the suspect could be charged with harassment.
Indiana does not have a hate crime law.
