An unhoused man was beaten and robbed Monday morning between 2:30 and 5:30 a.m. in Seminary Park, according to the Bloomington Police Department.
Police made contact with the victim 2-3 hours after the robbery. The victim had lacerations to his head.
The 57-year-old victim told police a white male with red hair, around 6 feet tall, weighing 180 pounds, and wearing jeans and a t-shirt had used his hands and feet to assault him. The alleged robber then stole the man’s shoes, a small amount of money, and miscellaneous clothing items.
