A security guard working at Stadium Crossing was run over by the driver of a Jeep on September 10, 2022, according to the Bloomington Police Department.
Police responded to a vehicle against pedestrian collision around 1:20 a.m. on September 10, 2022, and found a man with a visibly broken arm.
A 27-year-old man working at Stadium Crossing as a security guard was laying on the ground. He told police a Blue jeep had been driving around the parking lot of the apartment complex causing a disturbance. He tried to stop the vehicle to speak to the driver, and put him arm out. The vehicle slowly approached him until it tapped him, and then the driver accelerated causing him to fall and break his arm.
Police did not location the vehicle or suspects, and a witness told police the people in the Jeep didn’t look familiar.
The security guard hasn’t been able to work since the incident, and has had two different surgeries to repair damage to his arm.
Stadium Crossing was previously titled Varsity Villas.
