Events: Houston’s History of C&W Dance documentary film to premiere October 29, 2022 at Mike’s Dance Barn

The following event announcement was sent to the Bloomingtonian:

“On October 29th at 6:00 PM, Mike’s Dance Barn will host the first showing of the documentary 

Houston’s History of C&W Dance.

Inspiration for the film came as desire to give credit to the three entities responsible for the the popularity and growth of country and western dancing starting in the early 1980’s.

The film begins with a special and timely interview with Mickey Gilley filmed in November 2021.  Sadly, Mickey Gilley passed away in May of this year.
