For Immediate Release

Join us for the Harmony School Visitors Day on Tuesday October 18th

Bloomington, IN – Harmony School invites the community to come learn about Harmony School
at our next Visitors Day on Tuesday October 18 th.
Visitors who are interested in learning about the Early Childhood Program (ECP) for 3 year olds
– kindergarten age students should arrive at 10:15 AM to observe the ECP program and then
meet up with the other Visitor Day participants at 11 AM. We ask that you do not bring young
children to try out the ECP during Visitor Day, though. If you want your child to visit our Early
Childhood Program (ECP), we can arrange an opportunity for that at another time.
Visitors interested in grades 1-12 should arrive by 11 AM for an introduction by Steve Bonchek,
Harmony’s Executive Director, followed by a tour through the building, and ending with an
opportunity to speak with specific teachers. Students entering grades 1-12 in Fall 2022 are
welcome to shadow their class during Visitor Day.
Masks are required while at Harmony, so please wear a well-fitting mask inside our building.

About Harmony School:
Founded in 1974, Harmony School’s mission is to prepare young people to live in and contribute
to a heterogeneous democratic country. We do this by sensitizing young people to the delicate
balance needed in a democracy between individual growth and community responsibility. We
are dedicated to the development of the whole student: we teach critical thinking and academic
skills, and nurture each student’s unique voice, all while promoting physical, social, emotional,
and creative growth.
