Vehicle stolen after driver leaves it running while buying milk at downtown Kroger

A 63-year-old man reported a vehicle stolen at the Seminary Kroger in downtown Bloomington Sunday, according to the Bloomington Police.

The driver said he left the keys in the vehicle, with it running, and the trunk open, around 9:35 a.m., while he went into the supermarket to buy milk. When the man returned the maroon 2008 Chevy Aveo was gone.

The driver said the vehicle belonged to his brother.

Police said the vehicle had not been recovered by 11 a.m. Monday morning.
