The Knightridge Farmstead sent the following to the Bloomingtonian Friday:

Sunday, February 26, 2023 1-5pm and
Friday, March 3, 2023 1-5pm

Both are at the farmstand property, 2218 S Knightridge. These happen regardless of weather and even if the sap stops, you can still see the equipment and try the finished syrup. It’s a beautiful spot in the woods and some participants take a hike as well.

If you haven’t been to the back of the property before, please be aware that it’s a steep enough hill to present some difficulty for people with mobility limitations. We will help to the extent we can, and if you would like to arrange an opportunity for a similar presentation at the more accessible top of the hill, please let us know.

If neither of these dates work for you, or if you just can’t get enough maple syrup experience, the Hinkle-Garton farmstead is having their event on Saturday. They aren’t affiliated with us, but they have a different syrup system and I always enjoy their programs.
