The Bloomington went to see where toxic waste from the New Palestine train disaster in Ohio is being dumped in Indiana, Sunday, March 5, 2023. Russellville is actually closer to the site of the toxic waste landfill than Roachdale. On Google maps, the distance from the dump site to the town of Russellville is just over a mile.
Indiana governor Eric Holcomb has asked the EPA to halt the shipments, according to an article on Fox 59’s website:
