Candidates and Politicians of Opposing Views Work Together
for A Common Goal: to Build a Habitat For Humanity
On Saturday March 11 th , starting at 8:30 am, candidates and politicians will be at 2015 S.
Bernard Drive, putting aside their political differences and joining together under the banner of
Braver Angels for the benefit of people in need,. As part of its celebration of five years in
Monroe County, Braver Angels Indiana has invited current political leaders and candidates to put
aside politics for the sake of humanity for a day. The following people have agreed to help the
community with this Habitat for Humanity build:
• Daniel Elliott, Indiana State Treasurer (R)
• Shelli Yoder, Indiana State Senator (D)
• Dave Hall, Indiana State Representative (R)
• Julie Thomas, Monroe County Council Member (D)
• Jennifer Crossley, Monroe County Council Member (D)
• William Ellis, Monroe County Republican Party Vice-Chair (R)
• Noelle Conyer, candidate for Clerk Treasurer of Ellettsville (R)
• Isak Asare, candidate for Bloomington Common Council at Large (D)
• Brett Heinisch, candidate for Bloomington Common Council, District 3 (R)
• Jonas Schrodt, candidate for Bloomington Common Council at Large (D)
• Greg Knott, former candidate for State Representative (R)
