Red flag warning Thursday, April 20, 2023 in Indiana

The National Weather Service Indianapolis has issued a red flag warning for Thursday from noon to 8 p.m. — That means conditions are critical for fires to easily get out of control due to dry vegetation low humidity, and wind.

Here is the NWS statement:

A Red Flag Warning is in effect from 12pm to 8pm EDT on Thursday. Gusty winds up to 35 mph combined with low relative humidity and dry vegetation will create critical fire conditions. Outdoor burning is not recommended. Showers and storms are likely Thur evening/overnight. #inwx
