Auditions open to area singers for Bloomington Chamber Singers
Bloomington, Indiana, 5/5/23 – Bloomington Chamber Singers, one of the area’s premier
vocal ensembles, will hold auditions Tuesday, May 23 and Tuesday, August 8 from 6:30
to 9 pm at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 100 N. St Rd 46, Bloomington. In its 54th
season, BCS is a 40-voice mixed chorus that is open by audition to experienced choral
singers of all ages. Openings are available in all sections. 2023-2024 repertoire will
include Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Vivaldi’s Gloria, and J. S. Bach’s Magnificat, BWV 243.
