The Ellettsville Police Department took to social media to share aerial photographs of Saturday night’s fireworks show at Edgewood High School captured by their unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), or drone.
In a Facebook post, the department said “We hope everybody enjoyed the fireworks tonight! We sure did!” The event was made possible through generous donations from community members. The department extended its gratitude to all those who attended and gave special thanks to the donors. The funds raised from this year’s event will be utilized to finance next year’s show.
The Ellettsville Police Department also acknowledged the Ellettsville Fire Department for their dedication and hard work in organizing the display.
