Bloomington Mayor John Hamilton, the Redevelopment Commission (RDC), and the City of Bloomington Capital Improvement Board (CBCI) are inviting community members to participate in a groundbreaking ceremony for the Hopewell neighborhood.
“This investment will set the stage for a new inclusive Bloomington neighborhood where people from all walks of life and all ages, incomes, abilities, and backgrounds can thrive,” according to the City of Bloomington’s press release about the event.
The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for Friday, July 21, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. and will take place on E 2nd St, located between South Rogers St and South Morton St. Free parking options are available nearby.
