The event aims to support local families in preparing their children for the upcoming academic year while alleviating some of the financial burden associated with back-to-school shopping.

Since its inception in 2013, the School Rocks Backpack Giveaway has made a significant impact, providing over 1.3 million backpacks to students throughout the United States. This year, more than 1,000 TCC and Wireless Zone stores across 43 states will be participating in the event, ensuring accessibility to families nationwide.
The event will commence at 1 p.m. local time on July 30, and backpacks will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. Each backpack will be equipped with essential school items, including pencils, paper, a pencil box, folders, a ruler, and glue. In the spirit of giving back, any surplus backpacks will be donated to local schools of the store’s choosing.
