Local Woman’s 700 Blanket Donation Brings Comfort to Children in Lawrence County, Indiana

Bedford, Ind. – July 28, 2023

Denise Doyle, a resident of Lawrence County, Indiana, has donated 700 blankets to first responders in an effort to provide comfort to children experiencing traumatic events, according to a Facebook post by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

“Special thanks to Denise Doyle for the generous donation of 70 homemade blankets for our officers. These blankets will no doubt provide comfort to children during traumatic events our officers work. Ms. Doyle made 700 blankets this year and distributed them to police and fire departments around Lawrence County. Thank you for your compassion and hard work,” said a post on the LCSO Facebook page.
