Bloomington, Indiana – September 27, 2023
The Monroe County National Organization for Women (MCNOW) is inviting the community to join their September chapter meeting on Thursday, September 28th at 7:30 pm EST via Zoom. This meeting will serve as a platform for registered Monroe County voters to learn more about the upcoming Monroe County Community School Corporation (MCCSC) referendum and its implications for the local educational landscape.
The referendum, scheduled for this Fall, aims to provide funding for critical unfunded needs, including affordable early childhood education, instructional materials, and enhanced access to technology and testing fees within the MCCSC.
Dr. Hauswald and Dr. Winston from the MCCSC will be the special guests at the MCNOW chapter meeting, offering attendees the opportunity to pose questions and gain insight into the referendum’s objectives and significance.
