Indiana University men’s basketball team beats Army 72-64 Sunday

Bloomington, Indiana – November 12, 2023

The Indiana Hoosiers beat the Army Black Knights 72-64 Sunday night at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

The game started with a back-and-forth struggle between the two teams, however, the Hoosiers gained momentum and managed to take a lead, finishing the first half with a score of 32-31.

The second half saw the Hoosiers outscoring Army 40-33. The Indiana offense shot a 58.1% field goal percentage, including Malik Reneau’s (14 points) and Kel’el Ware’s (20 points).

On the Army side, Ryan Curry led the scoring with 20 points, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Hoosiers’ defense and offense. Despite a late push from the Black Knights, Indiana maintained control and secured the win with a final score of 72-64.
