Jewish Theatre of Bloomington Holds Auditions for Staged Reading of “Another Antigone”

The Jewish Theatre of Bloomington has announced auditions scheduled for January 11, aimed at filling two pivotal roles for an upcoming staged reading set to take place in April 2024.
The theater group is seeking talented actors capable of embodying both male and female college student roles for their rendition of “Another Antigone.” The play, penned by A.R. Gurney, draws inspiration from the ancient Greek tragedy “Antigone” by Sophocles, renowned for its exploration of the catastrophic consequences of unchecked pride.
