Staff report

LIncoln, Nebraska – January 3, 2023

The Indiana University Men’s Basketball team suffered a loss against Nebraska on Wednesday night in Lincoln by a score of 86-70.

Nebraska effectively stifled Indiana’s offense throughout the game. Coupled with numerous turnovers and fouls committed by Indiana, the Hoosiers found themselves trailing behind.

Despite Kel’el Ware’s contribution of 20 points for the Hoosiers, it proved insufficient to alter the outcome.

Following the game, IU head basketball coach Mike Woodson commented on Indiana’s lackluster perimeter play. In contrast, Nebraska consistently capitalized by successfully landing three-pointers, extending their lead to 20 points over IU during the second half.
