The Indiana University Women’s basketball team beat Nebraska 91-69 Sunday, January 7, 2024, in Lincoln Nebraska. It was the Hoosiers’ 12th consecutive win.

Indiana’s performance was highlighted by their shooting accuracy, finishing with a 61% field goal percentage compared to Nebraska’s 44%. The Hoosiers also outperformed from beyond the arc, boasting a 61% three-point field goal percentage while restricting Nebraska to 41%.

Mackenzie Holmes led the charge with 22 points, while Sara Scalia contributed 19 points along with seven assists.

The game saw Indiana taking the lead early. The Hoosiers capitalized on their opponent’s 19 turnovers.

Meanwhile, Nebraska struggled to keep pace with Indiana’s offensive onslaught, despite the performance by Alekis Markowski, who scored 21 points for the Cornhuskers.
